Tidal Trigger ("the game", "we", "us") is a surf-pinball arcade game by Graffiti Creatures. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can delete it.

What we collect

Account info — if you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Play Games, we receive a user ID, your display name, and email address from that provider. If you play as a guest, we create an anonymous user ID only (no name or email).
Gameplay data — your scores, level progress, unlocked content, equipped cosmetics, and in-game credits, synced to your account so you can resume across devices.
Leaderboard submissions — when you submit a run, we store the inputs of that run and re-simulate it on our server to compute an authoritative score. Your chosen display name and score are public on the leaderboard.
On-device storage — settings and progress are also cached locally on your device.

What we do NOT collect

No advertising identifiers, no location, no contacts, no tracking across other apps or sites.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

How we use it

To run the game, save and sync your progress, and operate the leaderboard.
To validate runs server-side and prevent cheating.

Who processes it

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Hosting) as our backend, and Google, Facebook, or Google Play Games for optional sign-in. Their handling of data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time:

In the game: Menu → Delete account & data — permanently removes your cloud save and account.
By request: email john.h@gourmetfire.com.au from the address linked to your account and we will delete your data within 30 days.

Children

Tidal Trigger is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
